Chelsea took off in style with a win against Portsmouth in what was Scolari’s first competitive game in charge. Frank Lampard signed a 5 year deal that will keep him at Stamford Bridge for rest of his career. Frank Lampard potpisao je 5 godina, koji će se držati ga na Stamford Bridge za ostatak karijere. Much was spoken about his potential move to Inter Milan linking with former Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho. Lampard seemed to make the move this year or the next, but has signed a new deal under boss Scolari.
