Italian side AC Milan have won the race to sign Brazilan superstar Ronaldinho from Barcelona. Manchester City and Chelsea were linked with the Brazilian midfielder but AC Milan have agreed a deal with the player and the club. The deal will be signed on Wednesday, July 16.
AC Milan are also pursuing Adebayor and Drogba, trying to push their way to top 4 in Seria A.
Chelsea are close to signing Brazilian forward Robinho from Real Madrid. The transfer fee is supposed to be in the range of £48m. Robinho has already expressed his interest to work under former Brazilian coach Scoari at Chelsea.
Meanwhile, though Scolari had publicly claimed that Drogba was 200% in his plans for the next year, the Ivory Coast striker is reluctant to stay at Stamford Bridge and has already packed his bags. AC Milan, Barcelona and Real Madrid are linked with the £25m rated striker. Chelsea will be looking to find a replacement to this prolific striker if he chooses to leave and Robinho might be a good one.
